Our growing restaurant is seeking an experienced Front of House staff member to join our team. As a Front of House staff member, you will be responsible for ensuring a high level of customer service and satisfaction. Your role will include greeting customers, taking orders, serving food and drinks, and maintaining a clean and organised dining area.
Responsibilities of the position include:
Greeting customers as they enter the restaurant
Taking and relaying customer orders to the kitchen staff
Serving food and drinks to customers in a timely manner
Handling customer requests and complaints in a professional and courteous manner
Ensuring tables and dining areas are clean and organised at all times
Collaborating with kitchen staff to ensure that orders are delivered accurately and on time
Processing payments and managing cash registers
Maintaining knowledge of menu items, specials, and restaurant policies and procedures
Assisting with other tasks, such as setting up and closing the restaurant as needed
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Front of House staff member or a similar role
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work well in a team environment
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Basic math skills and the ability to handle cash transactions
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
