Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:

  • Ensuring daily store operational requirements are met
  • Supervising staff and ensuring effective communication between staff and management
  • Ensuring store hygiene, maintenance, health, and safety requirements are met
  • Maintaining beverage cost, food costs, and stock control within specified ranges
  • Being on duty for busy shifts, weekends, and all functions
  • Ensuring effective communication between staff and management
  • Ensuring reports are issued timeously

Qualifications, experience, skills, and knowledge required:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Applicable degree or qualification
  • Experience in dealing with high volume, in a similar environment is preferable
  • Strong leadership ability and the ability to delegate and manage staff effectively
  • Computer literate with experience in MICROS BOH Systems
  • Tapas Style Restaurant experience is an advantage
  • High attention to detail and process-driven with the ability to interpret statistical information
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with all levels of management
  • Ability to multitask and make decisions under pressure
  • Discretion and integrity
  • High stress tolerance
