Responsibilities of the position include:
- Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for bar and restaurant customers
Interact with customers, take orders, and serve from the standard menu - Assess customers’ needs and preferences, make recommendations, and upsell when appropriate
- Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
- Validate customers’ identification and confirm their legal drinking age
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
- Maintain a focus on providing an excellent customer experience
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations and brand standards (SOPs)
- Conduct periodic spot checks to ensure stock is being properly managed
- Manage stock in the bar area
- Ensure cleanliness in all bar areas and storerooms
- Control glassware and equipment to minimise breakages while using equipment responsibly and correctly
Requirements:
- Previous bartending experience
- Friendly and highly motivated
- Efficient in providing excellent service to guests
- Reporting to the General Manager.
